Half Time
- Say something! By leaving your talk as "none" it's the equivalent of walking into the dressing room and just standing there. This helps no-one.
- Start off by setting an overall team talk. If you are pleased with the performance then say so. If dissapointed then tell them.
- Next you should go through your players individually. If you feel that someone underperformed then tell them about it, no use beating about the bush, not if a league championship is on the line. Praise your best performers, if someone has an 8 or 9 tell them you don't expect their performance to drop.
Full Time
- Again, you really should say something!
- Don't for the love of god say you expect a performance like that every week if you win 5-0 or 6-0 or a scoreline that is rarely acheivable. The players morale may go down. They will begin to think you don't praise them too much and this will have an adverse effect on your next few results if you're not careful.
- Compare half time/full time ratings of your players. Comment on each one that showed an improvement or had a drop in performance.
