Τα Golden Joystick Awards 2020 συμπεριλαμβάνουν 20 κατηγορίες, από καλύτερη ιστορία έως απόλυτο παιχνίδι της χρονιάς. Την προηγούμενη χρονιά, η πρωτιά σε κάποιες από αυτές κρίθηκε για περίπου 80 ψήφους, συνεπώς η επιλογή σας μπορεί να κάνει την διαφορά. Οι νικητές θα ανακοινωθούν τον Νοέμβριο.

[UPDATE: 25/11/20 - Τα αποτελέσματα] Τα Golden Joystick Awards 2020 ολοκληρώθηκαν και σε αυτά το The Last of Us: Part 2 πήρε 5 βραβεία, ενώ η Naughty Dog ήταν εταιρεία ανάπτυξης της χρονιάς.

Το The Last of Us: Part II κέρδισε το βραβείο του Ultimate Game of the Year, καθώς επίσης και βραβεία για καλύτερο storytelling, visual design, audio και PlayStation Game of the Year. Το Fall Guys έκανε την έκπληξη ως καλύτερο Multiplayer game. Δείτε αναλυτικά τους νικητές:
